Solitaire cufflinks – design inspiration and style guide
What to wear with your Miss Links solitaire cufflinks
Working at Miss Links means we get to curate corporate workwear outfits as style guides for our cufflinks. It’s one of those, “pinch me, is this really my job” moments. We love what we do!
Today, we’re giving you the style inspiration for our most popular cufflinks, the classic solitaire.
Design inspiration
“The design process was simple: a brilliant cut solitaire,” says Miss Links founder Dianna Butterworth. “The challenge was the colour selection. The crystal is an obvious choice but what else? Swarovski has a huge variety of colour choices. After much consideration I chose a broad spectrum of five colours—crystal, pink, purple, blue and green.”
Understated elegance
Given these cufflinks are simple yet feminine, we’re going for workwear with a simple, pared-back vibe. Think Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, Jennifer Aniston or Michelle Williams.
The cornerstone is this powder blue suit
Saba has a well-deserved reputation for well cut suits at a good price point. We’re loving the single button jacket and the slim leg full suit pant. But oh, the colour! Baby blue, powder blue… we’re not sure what to call it, but it’s lovely. Perfect for the summery weather that’s just around the corner.
A French cuff shirt, naturally
A classic white shirt with a French cuff never goes out of style. Oxford is one of our favourite labels for well cut French cuff shirts for women. The sweet small collar is very on trend too!
Your new favourite heels
How divine are these Chanel heels? We heart them so much, especially for that pearl detail on the heel, which is just perfection. The touch of black on the toe giving a modern edge and draws the eye, because if you splurge on Chanel heels you want them to be noticed! The heels are not overly high and have a good width, meaning you can actually walk in them. So, they’re as practical as they are gorgeous.
Handbag from Furla
Does your office have that woman who’s in love with handbags? We do….say hello Carolyn! She recommended this Diva shoulder bag from Furla. We’re loving the structured lines, contrasting gold clasp and variety of textures. It pairs beautifully with the tones of the slingback heels to add cohesion to the entire look.
Is it a bracelet, is it a watch? Both!
We’re loving the structural detail of this Calvin Klein watch. You’re busy and important, you need to tell time, but style matters too, and this delivers. It’s got all the watch essentials for quality and longevity—stainless steel, Swiss made, water resistant…it’s delicate yet sturdy and looks fabulous.
Fragrance, the final touch
We know you shouldn’t be swept away by the bottle design, but this fragrance would look lovely on display in your bathroom or walk-in robe, wouldn’t it? Too pretty! It’s a fresh and summery floral with lily of the valley and honey suckle notes. Plus, it looks a little like our cufflinks of choice don’t you think?
