5 Corporate Winter Fashion Tips and what you didn’t know about Miss Links
I have something to share with you. It’s a big step for me and I’m feeling quite vulnerable, so be kind. However, before I talk about that, I want to dive into corporate fashion for Winter, because it’s well and truly here and I’m freezing my little toes off!
There are so many gorgeous things I adore about winter; hot chocolates, homemade pizza (heck who am I kidding, let’s just go out for dinner), cheese platters and big glasses of red wine by the fire.
We could sit around in our PJ’s all day and enjoy these glorious carbohydrates but there’s so many winter fashion pieces I want to take out into the wintery coldness and I’m sure by spring and summer, I will be grateful that I did this instead of pizza night every night!
So here’s my top 5 winter fashion accessories, along with some wintery colours that are my all time favourite.
- Shirts and Cufflinks
There’s nothing smarter than wearing a collared shirt to the office because it looks professional and sleek. Shirts are getting a lot of fashion attention right now too and with a French cuff shirt you can add some cufflinks to let your personality shine. Lydia wears our ‘Claire’ rose Swarovski crystal cufflinks.
2. The Twill boyfriend coat from Veronika Maine
A really strong and structured look it has a don’t mess with me edge and in classic black you can’t go wrong. Australian made with a twill finish, what’s not to love?
3. Not Blue Suede shoes….. RUBY suede!
Loving the ruby hues of these Nine West Pumps and handbags. The essential winter accessories [that will look amazing with the Claire cufflinks too!]
4. Rhodes and Beckett Shirt
A winter blue, silk shirt with a ruffle neck? Wow. Just wow. Rhodes and Beckett design amazing shirts with women in mind, they fit extremely well. And of course they make French cuff shirts too, a classic white shirt should be a staple in any corporate fashion wardrobe.
5. The Ultimate Patent Leather Compendium Bag
I mean the ULTIMATE bag… a fierce tablet and laptop bag in patent black faux croc leather…. You can conquer the world with this bag. The swoon worthy Tycoon bag is from Shelion Bags.
Oh, and remember how I started this blog? That teeny, weeny thing I have to put out there? I must be honest, I’m not very comfortable promoting myself, talking to camera or being photographed. It’s just not in me. I’m a number lover and prefer to have my head buried in books or discussing with clients about their financial strategies.
For my cufflink business, Miss Links Melbourne, I know I need to be a part of the brand. I launched this small business for the love of French cuff shirts and for my family so I could show my kids that you can be a Mum and a working mother. I did it for me too, genuinely for me, so I could unleash my creative side.
My lovely supporters, I am now launching myself into the brand and I’m doing a short and sweet series of videos with insider information that I hope you will enjoy and learn a little bit more about Miss Links Melbourne, me and the love I have for women’s cufflinks.
I have a few short and sweet series of videos that will give you some insider information into who Miss Links is and what she’s all about! I’m launching the series this Sunday night, 18th June, on Facebook so make sure you check in and catch me there.
Until next time, Dianna. xx
