What to wear with your Petal cufflinks
Welcome to the first piece of our series on our cufflinks, where we share the vision behind the creation of each design and suggest ultra-chic ways to style your little pieces of wrist jewellery.
First up: our lovely petal cufflinks. They are one of Dianna’s favourites and a bestseller as well.
Petal cufflink: design inspiration
“When I created the petal cufflink, I was looking for a floral that combined femininity with a modern edge,” says our founder, Dianna Butterworth. “I also wanted a cufflink that came without crystals or embellishments—not everyone loves bling. The laser-cut, rhodium-plated sterling silver shines without any distractions and the final result is geometrically pleasing too.”
A modern style icon
“For each cufflink design I have a celebrity in mind, and for Petal it was Kate Hudson. She (seems to be) bright, sunny, a little mischievous, bold and creative. She has the most luminous wide smile, just like her mother Goldie Hawn. In her fashion, she takes risks with edgy silhouettes and embraces a wide variety of styles on the red carpet – she looks like she has fun with it and enjoys experimenting.”
Styling the petal cufflink: fresh, contemporary and youthful

This Cartier watch fits the ensemble perfectly. It’s a classic timepiece featuring a modern twist with the blue steel sword shaped hands.
Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori is the perfect fragrance to pair with your outfit, with its heady combination of chypre floral, rose and osmanthus.
Of course French cufflinks need a French cuff shirt and this one from Eton works perfectly:
