Dianna Butterworth, founder of Miss Links
Hello!
I’m Dianna Butterworth, the creator of Miss Links, an online boutique offering cufflinks designed exclusively for women.
Miss Links began after I experienced a frustrating day of shopping in Melbourne looking for cufflinks. After searching the department stores, jewellery shops and boutiques, I could not find much beyond standard men’s cufflinks and silk knots. (Do not get me started on silk knots, I hate them with a passion!)
I soon realised there was an opportunity to create a range of cufflinks just for women but I was worried the market was too niche. Was it just me? I started researching and received positive feedback from female cufflink wearers. I found that women had no option but to wear men’s cufflinks and the women who liked French cuff shirts would gladly welcome a feminine range.
In the meantime, I had two children and launched a financial consultancy business with my husband in 2012. Whilst I enjoyed my career in finance, I still had those cufflink designs in the back of my mind. With the encouragement of my husband and family and investing my life savings, I created Miss Links.
I found a designer and created prototypes for the cufflink range, which includes Swarovski solitaires, crystal clusters, bows, pearls and many more. Each piece is made of high quality materials, is rhodium plated, will not tarnish and comes in a beautiful custom made box.
